Where to Find Low Cost High Quality Gym and Workout Clothes
Going to the gym requires workout clothes. It’s plain and simple. You want to look good and have high performance gear, but you don’t want to pay a fortune. The cost of some workout clothes are very high now, and brands are taking advantage of the trend, which is everyone being into fitness and working out now.
We all want to save money on sporting goods and the clothes we wear when working out, while still looking as good as we feel. Don’t worry there are ways to score amazing deals on the top brand clothing.
I’ve become quite the deal snatcher over the years when it comes to gym clothes. I go through t-shirts and shorts faster than anyone I know so I had to figure it out. It was either find a way or start wearing gear with holes in them, and that wasn’t an option.
Closeout Rack at Department Stores
Luckily for me there is a large shopping mall near my house. I’ll take an hour out of my weekend now and then and just do one big loop through it, hitting every department store that has a men’s fitness section.
You would be surprised at how many have a discount rack and the savings can be as high as 80% off. The trick is to hit it when they restock it, because the popular sizes go fast. If you wait too long it will be filled with sizes small and XXXXXXL.
Team Stores After a Logo Change
This is one of the easiest way to stock up on good quality stuff dirt cheap. When a pro team goes through a logo change they have to liquidate all older gear that features the old logos. They can’t keep it in their team store or sell it on their website.
For example, the Miami Marlines recently revealed a new logo (again) and they blew out old stuff cheap. I’m not a Marlins fan, nor live in Miami, but I was able to pick up t-shirts for as little as $3 each and gym shorts for $5. These are high quality items that were originally more than ten times that price.
Online Marketplaces
There are several discount websites that you can find sporting goods on that you might now have thought otherwise. Places like the Whohou marketplace always have new sporting goods for sale at deep discounts. Check in often to see what new stuff they have and when you see a deal too good to pass jump on it.
Honestly, I would never have thought to check them before, and it’s one of my go-to websites when I am in need of a restock, which seems to be way too often!
Major E-Commerce Holidays
Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two great times to really stock up. While you are usually shopping for other people on your holiday list on these days don’t forget your own needs.
It’s hit or miss. You really never know what they are going to offer, so you have to do a little digging. But if you do encounter a sweet deal it’s often so good you can’t pass it up.
